When you hire me for your NOVA family photo session, I want you to know that I will do my very best to make this as quick and painless as possible for everyone involved! I know how stressful it can be to get the whole family to cooperate at the same time, but try to relax and let me get the family looking great for you! I like to get a good mix of posed and natural photos during every session because I think it's important to have that mix for you to choose from in your final gallery. You would be surprised at how many moms go into a session wanting the posed and looking photo and end up falling in love with the more natural photos of the family interacting with one another. Let's have some fun during the session playing games and having tickle fights or just walking together and laughing at each other! Let your kids tell me their favorite jokes and make their silliest faces at me! Some of the best laughs and smiles come with the craziest things I might ask you to do or say!

Every session starts with a conversation. Reach out and let's start talking about what you're looking for in your family session. We'll find a good date and location for your session, and we will get you officially scheduled on my calendar.
Say Hello
After you've officially scheduled your session, we will start the planning process. We will go over your outfit choices for the entire family and the location for your session if we haven't already picked a place.
Do you want to include your furry family member? Now is the perfect time to talk about it! Your family session is customizeable to meet your own family's needs and desires for your photos!
Planning Your Session
When you hire me as your family photographer, I am at your disposal. Ask me anything. I want your session to go as smoothly as possible when the time comes. But I also want to be supportive in any way that I can be. Honestly, no topic is off limits! I am here to support you and to help you.
Keeping In Touch
A few days prior to our session, I'll reach out to confirm our time and location. This is a great time to ask any last minute questions or discuss any ideas you may have for your session. We will meet at the location where I will be ready to capture your family's now!
We will go through your session at your pace. I schedule sessions with enough wiggle room to allow for breaks, so don't be afraid to speak up if you or the kids need one. I don't want you to worry about a thing! You are going to knock this out of the park!
Your Family Session
We made it through your session, and you can check your yearly family photos off your "to do" list. You can expect to receive your session gallery within four weeks of your session, but I always try my best to get them back to you sooner. I know how anxious you are to see the photos. Once you've marveled at how fabulous your family looks, you will have the opportunity to select your included digital images as well as purchase any additional digitals and print products through your private online viewing gallery.
Your Photographs
Time goes by way too fast! If you're looking to make some memories of your family in this season of life, you're in the right place. After all, memories and pictures are all we have of times gone by!
We'll spend up to about an hour together making memories at a location that we will choose together. Your session includes 25+ digital images and an 8x10 float wrap w/ stand to proudly display in your home. Extended family sessions also available.
You'll receive guidance leading up to your session on what to wear, how to prepare, and what to expect. I'll be available every step of the way to assist you in any way I can to make sure you're prepared for your big day!
The Experience
Are you ready to document your family yearly with me? Let's do this! I offer custom bundles where you can combine two, three, or four sessions into one package! The more you book, the more you save! I love working with clients to give them exactly what they want, and these bundles are the way to go! And these bundles are automatically placed on a monthly payment plan to help spread out the investment!
