Every session starts with a conversation. I want all of the details! When you're due, what you're having (if you know and are willing to share), what you're craving...you name it! Nothing is off the table when you're with me. Think of me as just another mom friend because I remember what it's like. I know it's not all glamorous (though you will be during your session), and I'm happy to listen and talk to you about your experiences.

Reach out and let's start talking about what you're looking for in your very own maternity session. We'll find a good time frame based on your due date, and we will get you officially scheduled on my calendar.

Step 1 of 5

After you've officially scheduled your maternity session, we will start the planning process. We will go through my client closet to narrow down your choices before your in-home dress fitting. We will pick a beautiful location, whether outdoor or in the studio. And we will start the process of scheduling your pampering appointment with one of the hair and makeup artists that I work with if you've upgraded to include that.

If your family will be joining you, we can also start getting some ideas for their wardrobe based on the dress you choose. So the earlier you schedule your dress fitting, the better. That way we have time to plan, and you'll have time to shop, if necessary.

Planning Your Session

When you hire me as your styled maternity photographer, I am at your disposal. Ask me anything. I want your session to go as smoothly as possible when the time comes. But I also want to be supportive in any way that I can be. Honestly, no topic is off limits! I am here to support you and to help you.

Keeping In Touch

Step 3 of 5

A few days prior to our session, I'll reach out to confirm our time and location. This is a great time to ask any last minute questions or discuss any ideas you may have for your session. We will meet at the location where I will have the dress and a popup tent ready for you (the studio has a bathroom to change in).

We will go through your session at your pace. I schedule sessions with enough wiggle room to allow for breaks, so don't be afraid to speak up if you need one. I even pack water and a snack just incase! I want you to be comfortable, and I want you to enjoy yourself. How often do you get to get dolled up like this? And for such a special occasion, no less. So don't worry about a thing! You are going to knock this out of the park!

Your Maternity Session

We made it through your session, and you can check that off your long "to do" list. You can expect to receive your session gallery within four weeks of your session, but I always try my best to get them back to you sooner. I know how anxious you are to see the photos. Once you've marveled at how stunning you look, you will have the opportunity to select your included digital images as well as purchase any additional digitals and print products through your private online viewing gallery.

The Process

If you haven't realized this yet, your maternity session is more than just a regular photography session. I want this to be an experience for you, whether you choose an outdoor location or the studio. I want to make it memorable.

We'll spend up to about an hour together capturing your beauty, and when we're done, you will receive a full gallery of 20+ digital images and a gorgeous 8x10 float wrap w/ stand to proudly display in your home.

You'll receive guidance leading up to your session on what the rest of the family should wear, how to prepare, and what to expect. I'll be available every step of the way to assist you in any way I can to make sure you're prepared for your big day!
