Kids have a lot of energy. A lot. Some more than others. As parents, we do everything we can to keep our kids happy and entertained. But it doesn’t hurt if we find them an activity that also lets them burn off some of that extraordinary energy. Gymnastics is one of those opportunities that lets kids somersault, cartwheel, jump, and play, all while picking up some important life skills. From tumbling tots to seasoned pros practicing their Olympic-level moves, several facilities right here in Fairfax challenge, encourage, and teach your child to be the best gymnast they can be! Here are some of the best places for Fairfax County gymnastics!

Firstly, Fairfax Gymnastics Academy has created a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for kids to learn important life values through the sport of gymnastics. Their 8,000-square-foot climate-controlled facility has all the equipment participants need to learn gymnastics basics and hone competitive skills.
As a student of FGA, your child will gain confidence, discipline, body awareness, and strength, all while having fun and meeting new friends. Whether you have a toddler or a teenager, your kid will learn fundamental gymnastics skills and techniques from their first class. Want a little unstructured fun? Jump into an Open Gym session to enjoy the trampoline foam pit and other fun and playful workout equipment!

Mosaic Gymnastics offers several opportunities for kids to participate in the exciting world of gymnastics. Coach and owner Tatiana Jordan is a certified USA Gymnastics professional member and a certified Pilates instructor who knows the importance of keeping your body fit and active. Their recreational classes are non-competitive. They offer a more fun and open structure for kids who love tumbling, cartwheeling, and learning new skills.
Their USAG (USA Gymnastics) team hand-selects participants based on their skills and strong work ethic. It’s designed for students who want to compete in Rhythmic Gymnastics, helping them master techniques and develop a respectful, competitive spirit!

Lastly, Cardinal Gymnastics is a reputable and established gymnastics facility in Fairfax recently acquired by new ownership. They have over 13,000 square feet of space with all the equipment needed for women’s competitive events, like trampolines, Tumbl Trak, foam pits, resi landings, and training equipment. Cardinal Gymnastics also offers recreational classes for more casual gymnastics enthusiasts.
However, if you have a competitive child, you may want to consider Cardinal’s training for Women’s USAG competitive Levels 3 through 10. Cardinal Gymnastics is also an excellent facility for a memorable birthday party, letting everyone burn off steam as they jump, tumble, and play!
These Fairfax County gymnastics facilities are well-equipped to help your child tap into their inner gymnast! Whether they’d be better suited for more recreational classes or competitive, these facilities offer the tools, guidance, and coaching they need to tap into their potential. Happy tumbling!
