If you’re the kind of mom or mom-to-be that just isn’t good at or interested in doing a lot of organizing at your home before your baby comes, hiring a professional organizer in Northern Virginia can be a great help to you. It may be the last thing you want to do yourself or you just want some assistance getting your home and nursery just right for your little bundle of joy. Either way, Clarifying Spaces is here to help. Check out this Q&A with owner and organizer, Claire Ward.
A: I offer moving assistance, decluttering and donation drop offs, personalized systems designed for your home, access to trade discounts from upscale retailers, laundry folding, closets, pantries, offices and more!
A: As a new mom it was so important for me to have babes clothes set up with easy access! I offer nursery prep, clearing a room to become a nursery, and I can even assemble furniture!
A: I formed my business March 2022 but have been organizing for several years. I started because of my love of helping friends and family get control of their space, and I moved so many times I learned what to take and what to leave.
A: The process looks something like me making a huge mess, taking everything out of the space I’m working in to go through and separate into keep and give away piles, and then putting everything back up in a more organized fashion.
A: Every job is different, but I’m extremely dedicated and prefer to work until it’s finished! Typically 7 hours max.
A: I offer all clients a “refresh” every couple of months to touch up any space I’ve previously organized to keep it functioning.
A: I’ve lived in small spaces so I have some creative ways, but I will say lots and lots of under the bed bins, and I definitely recommend getting furniture with storage like a lift top coffee table or ottoman.
A: I love working with people and will do anything in my power to make my clients feel comfortable and judgement free throughout the process! While working with me we’re smiling, laughing, and relating! I like to feel as though we’re in this together and investing in your home.
