As a Northern Virginia newborn photographer, I sometimes get asked what pediatrician I take my daughter to. It’s so important to find someone that works well with you and your family, so who better to ask than another mom, right? Well my answer is PediatriCare of Northern Virginia. As a military family, we don’t always get to choose our own doctors, but thankfully both times we’ve lived here since she was born, we’ve been able to take her to PediatriCare. My husband and his siblings saw Dr. Giancola as kids so we naturally wanted to take our own daughter to see him too. About PediatriCare of Northern Virginia
PediatriCare has been serving Northern Virginia families since 1996, and they have convenient locations in Manassas and Haymarket. When it comes to taking your newborn to see the doctors at PediatriCare of Northern Virginia, they would like to see your baby within the first week of life, at about three to seven days old. After their first visit, they will be seen on a schedule for well child check-ups as your baby grows. If you’re interested in checking them out for your newborn, they offer complimentary “Meet the Doctor” visits for expecting parents, as well as parents who are adopting or new to the area.
All of the physicians at PediatriCare are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and you will have the option to choose from nine different female and male providers. Whether you choose to see the same provider for every visit or you want to get to know everyone, you have plenty of options. They also provide a lot of great resources for parents on their website, such as immunization schedules and dosage charts, which are great references to have on hand for any parent.
